Team Denmark

Helle Gadeberg, Team Leader

My first year as team leader, I am looking forward to supporting the fantastic Danish team.

It will be my 4th Rally-O NM in a row, the first outside the ring.

I look so much forward to seeing you all in Stockholm!

1. Camilla Bendix & Izzi

My name is Camilla Bendix and I live in Odder, with my husband and our two boys.

I have trained a lot of agility with my dogs. I love the speed and the intensity of agility. Rally has been a bit of a side gain for us, we enjoy the cohesion it provides between dog and handler.

Izzi is 11 years young (however she doesn’t behave like that  )  and her agility competition days are over. We now find joy in rally and we give it full throttle on the rally tracks together.

Izzi has achieved many fine titles over the years and is the best training partner I could wish for.
We are very much looking forward to sharing this fantastic experience as a part of the national team.

2. Helle Sejer Damkjær & Mio

My name is Helle and my dog is Myrullen’s Mio is from a breeder in Norway. He is a 10 year old border collie.

In 2023 he was winning the Danish rally obedience championships in ekspert-class. Mio has been a part of the national team in 3 different dogsport, first obedience, then nordic search and now rally-obedience.

3. Pia Grisell & Breeze

My name is Pia Grisell and I live in Ribe together with my husband and son plus my 3 dogs.

I am participating with Breeze (border collie) for first time at world championships and second time to Nordic Championships. Breeze is 4 1/2 years old and has achieved several titles such as rally champion and rally super champion title

I do a little bit NoseWork training, tricks, dailyday obedience training (HLT) and obedience training (LP)

On daily basis I work as a bookkeeper at Ribeegnes Dyrlæger and I also have my own dog school.

Looking forward to meeting you all

4. Trine Sartou Rasmussen & Heydu

My name is Trine ,I live on a small farm In Jutland. I live with my boyfriend and our 4 dogs and 2 old horses.

Around 3 years ago, I didn’t have any dogs fit enough to run agility, when I decided, I was going to train rally instead with the old agility dogs. And about 3 years ago, Heydu came along. Heydu quickly showed me that Rally was his thing, and he wasn’t going to mess around.

He is the sweetest little guy you can imaging, always aiming to do his best. He is still a young boy, only 3 years old. Despite that, he went from novice to national team in under a year.

5. Annette Grønbæk Jensen

Hello. My name is Annette Grønbæk Jensen. I live in Aarhus with my family and our 3 wonderful dogs. Archie is a 11 years old Border collie. He loves to train rally, run agility and to hike.

This is our 4th time on the Danish national team. Our best result is 2nd place at Nordic Championship 2021 and 1st place at Danish nationals in 2021 and 2022. Archie is so sweet and easy at home, and so intense and powerful at work. I think his favorit rally exercise is “round the cone”

I just love to train and play with him.

Reserves

If needed, the team can make a switch over to a reserve before the Championship.

Birgit Dahlgren & Chica

My name is Birgit and my dog is a 4 year old Golden Retriever named Chica.

She is a lovely working dog and we always have a lot of fun together. Besides Rally we do a lot of Nosework, and we enjoy walks in the nature.

At home she can often be found on the couch with all four legs in the air, but when she has to work, then
she is energetic with a wonderful attitude.

Her favorite exercises in rally are undoubtedly all those including running.
